I am thinking about writing something about weekend activities that gives me new inspirations. It is a great way to recharge ourselves for the new week, especially for those who have fast-paced job (like me). From my perspective, getting a great relax doesn’t mean that you have to totally escape to somewhere else to travel, or sleeping all day long (at least it doesn’t work for me because I am such a sunshine person). It can be a great movie + wine. It can be a new recipe + friends. It can be a long walk + music. Just that simple.
This weekend I watched Indian movie called The Lunchbox. The movie talks about a man (single) and a woman (married but not happy) write to each other through a lunchbox. They talk about their everyday life and childhood. The story happens in Mumbai where many women prepare lunchboxes, and the deliverymen take them to husbands (this is something new to me…).
Unlike many Bollywood movies, this one doesn’t have dancing and singing all the time, not a action / revenge movie, not a fairytale, while the storyline catches my mind. It is very similar to the conversation movie – Before Sunset & Before Sunrise. I am not familiar of the actor Irfan Khan but knew he had starred in Life of Pie.
We all have busy life in big cities, all you need is a person who listens to you and understands you.
