I can’t express how I excited I was to be able to get a seat spot in Momofuku Noodle Bar finally with MX.! Long story short, the first two times we either came here too early or just couldn’t wait in the long queue when we were super hungry. I had expected this would be a popular spot in NYC but this incredibly popular? Never thought about it.
I learned about Momofuku through David Chang, the founder’ book very randomly. In the book, David talked about the history of how he wanted to learn to make ramen noodle and the whole story about how he revamped an old house and found partners to make this foodie destination come true. Everything looks great today while who can imagine how much efforts he had paid to make all this happen?
I love Momofuku’s signature dish – pork belly bun, but as a marketer, I admire Momofuku’s marketing endeavors: consumer engagement through social media, food magazine, new product innovation (Momofuku milk bar)…Every single detail make the brand such a landmark in NYC. If you had a chance to go for a restaurant tour in NYC, come here but make sure you have enough time!
