Last Saturday MX and I went to Let’s Eat SF launch party, and we spent a wonderful and special night with many other SF foodies! Let’s Eat SF’s purpose is to deliver that unique pop-up dining experiences throughout San Francisco that function as a virtual exhibit of the local farming community and slow food movement. All ingredients used in the meals are organic and locally sourced. The organizer, Michelle, is an ex high-tech marketer and decided to re-focus on what she truly enjoys in life – food that unites people together. Well, she certainly made it during the launch party!
The theme of the launch party was “Knowing the Roots”. Beets can be turned into beautiful martini. Carrots can be pureed finely as a bread spread. it was a dinner that made the “roots” shine through the night. The party was help in Naked Kitchen, a pop-up kitchen + dining room that hosts special events and private parties.
