Breakfast is my favorite part of the day. I can eat whatever I want – oatmeal, coffee, yogurt, soy milk, bread, butter, orange juice…A little bit of everything. And whenever I want to try a new cake or a new type of cookie, I try them at my breakfast time – make sense right? I am going to introduce a protein smoothie I have been making for a while – it is S-U-P-E-R delicious!
First of all, you need to buy a base product Lifeway Kefir. What is Kefir? It is a tart and tangy cultured milk smoothie that is high in protein, calcium and vitamin D (right full of nutritions).
What else do you need for 1 serving of Kefir smoothie:
- 5-6 strawberries
- A handful of blueberry
- A touch of vanilla extract
- A little bit cocoa powder
Then – put all of them in the blender and just mix! When I eat this Kefir smoothie, I also like to eat Fig Bar . Fig Bar is a all natural jam-packed bar. Unlike other energy bars (like Kind or Clif Bar) it is chewy like cookies so that gives you another touch of pleasure (besides just a bar).
