Matcha Lava Cheesecake
After 1 month travel and vacation in Asia, I felt both tired and recharged! Tired because of the jet lag in four countries, recharged because of – the Asian food and homemade food from my dearest Mom. So my agenda in Asia was as below:
1. I flew from Buffalo – New York City – Hong Kong – Chiang Mai, Thailand
2. I stayed 3 days in Chiang Mai, Thailand then head off to Bangkok, Thailand – the capital city
3. After 4 days, I flew to Seoul, Korea
4. After 2 days, I flew to Shanghai, China and finally flew to Fuzhou, China, my warm and cozy hometown and spent 2 weeks with my parents.
After I came back to Buffalo I took 2 weeks to adjust the jet lag – yes because no food can wake me up, but I am back now! So, I have many many…stories about food, people, things to share, I decided to go from something easier (it is almost 12:00AM now and I need to get up early on Monday for work).
In Bangkok, Thailand, I met this super cute cafe called Farm Design, everything there looked very natural and garden-ish. The cow decoration and the wooden desks. The cafe is famous for their Matcha Lava Cheesecake. I am sure many of you have tried chocolate lava cake, while it is totally different flavor when it becomes Matcha. The little bitter flavor of Matcha with the cheese lava just matched very well in a sophisticated way.
